What to do

Bewcastle has plenty of footpaths and open areas to explore, and is on the edge of one of the largest forests in Europe.

We have highlighted a mixture of activities to suit all tastes (and all ages).

Please respect the Bewcastle countryside by remembering the country code. In particular, please take your rubbish with you, leave gates in the state you found them, and drive cautiously during lambing time (March / April / May).
